Sample contractor business is a construction business created specifically for QuickBooks Contractor Editions. Called Quality-Built Construction, this sample file contains three years of data designed for the construction industry. The Item list, for example, contains items for construction industry phases.
Sample consulting business, Sample engineering or architecture firm, Sample graphic design or advertising agency, and Sample law firm are sample company files with data designed for professional service businesses. For example, the Item list in each sample file contains items for services typically performed by that particular professional business.
Sample manufacturing business and Sample wholesale-distribution business are sample company files with data designed for the corresponding industry. For example, the chart of accounts contains accounts that are typically used in manufacturing or wholesale/distribution organizations.
Sample nonprofit organization is a sample company file that provides examples of using the features of QuickBooks Nonprofit Edition to manage a nonprofit organization. The file includes several specialized funding and budget reports specifically designed for non-profit financial management.
